Holy OSL necron Lord!
Mid-week update from the Desk, and I have a metal skeleton that's in the middle of being done. A nice little visit to some classic colours, with which I used to paint a lot (Magenta was noted a while back as my "Hot Sauce", which I used to put on everything!). Additionally, I've created an inspired piece to showcase some strong OSL on a miniature, as a few of you on Discord have been experimenting with this effect, and I thought it would be a good opportunity to join in on the fun.
This will be a nice video tutorial that will thread in nicely between what will be some good amount of Cathay that's incoming. It's just my embargo dates that are holding me from sharing the progress and completion of the first unit! Until then, I've also included a nice progress shot comparison of my Procreate sketch of the illumination next to the actual completed stage on the model.
