This Aeldari Farseer was painted as a study in colour, light, and visual storytelling, with the primary palette inspired by a combination of abstract digital artworks and the bold use of fluorescent underpainting found in portrait painting. I was particularly drawn to the way these artists use unexpected, highly saturated colours to establish atmosphere and depth, using those influences as the foundation for the vibrant turquoise and crimson palette of the miniature. Rather than approaching each element independently, the miniature was developed as a single composition, carefully balancing value, saturation, and contrast to guide the viewer's eye toward the character's face and upper body. The flowing robes, ornate armour, glowing details, and atmospheric base were all designed to work together, combining the elegance of Aeldari aesthetics with a contemporary, expressive approach to colour and light.
