Shorties & Underhive Update!
Happy Friday, everyone. I hope the week has been good to you on the brush and that it is rewarding to be moving right into the weekend. Some new things have been on my painting desk besides Usurper in the 35mm GW range. What will be appearing as part of a diorama for Warhammer Community, these 2 Votann Hearthkyn Salvagers are the only subjects I can share with you right now that will be exploring the surface ruins of Prospero, 10k years after the city of light got plunged into darkness. I've had some real fun painting these dudes up, and I'll be expanding more on these to create my little kill team for myself so I can play a game! Sounds odd, right? me gaming lol!
Then moving away from Prospero, and back into Necromunda's underhive, these are two WiP shots of Klovis the Redeemer & Deakon Malakev. These are a couple of commissions that I've been doing from a larger collection of Underhive Scum of various characters which are a nice palette cleanser in their own. The text in particular has been really enjoyable, and I have found a little space to show some cursive handwriting in those big books of theirs! I wasn't expecting a tutorial from these models, but I'll put together a short, little 2-step guide on this (Really Simple)!
Next week I'll have the Votann Armour tutorial and how I've constructed a nice and easy colour palette for this harmonious scheme. Perfect for those who want something to play with on the tabletop, but also want some more interest and fun working with colour, so that the army/kill-team painting experience doesn't get too dull. So enjoy the weekend and we shall see you next week with some Orange and Blue :)
